Popis: Abstract Background and Aim: Considering the role of oxidative stress on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and changing lipid profiles, the antioxidant effect of plants and fruits on biochemical indicators was investigated. Thymol is a phenolic monoterpene that has antioxidant properties. According to the above, in this study, the effects of thymol on improving the symptoms of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease caused by chronic immobility stress will be studied. Materials and Methods: In this study, 30 rats were randomly assigned to three groups according to the criteria studied and the animals. Animals tested - In this experimental study, they were divided into four control groups, stress group and stress group + thymol. The rats will be subjected to daily immobile stress for 6 hours for 60 days. After 60 days, the rats were anesthetized with ketamine and xylazine and blood was taken from the heart, and the entire liver was removed for histological examination. The rest of the liver will be stored at Kruskal–Wallis and Mann-Whitney U for further analysis and biochemistry. And the value of P
