Popis: Take into account that actually organizations are under precise observation of their consumers, who are strict and look beyond of a good product or service. The organizations have been seen on the obligation of contribute to sustainable development, continuous improvement of their processes and especially with safety management and social responsibility practices. This article presents the study made to the Juan Valdez Stores with the final purpose of elaborating a proposal to manage the social responsibility in Colombia according to the ISO 26000. The study addresses Juan Valdez Stores within the framework of competitive strategies focus on the RSE, where an absence of a diagnostic is reflected on the real results observed in the organization. To achieve this, it arises in the first instance the structure of two instruments based on guidelines of RSE, the design of this instruments allow evaluate and contrast the perception of the workers about the real execution in Juan Valdez Stores; the strategy of the company was contrasted with the values and topics of corporate social responsibility (RSE) ISO 26000 and finally is characterized the operation of the values and topics of corporate social responsibility. The result evidences that the Company under study presents an absence of knowledge of the officials in relation to how the social responsibility should be managed as a linchpin of all their actions. Additionally, are two components with an opportunity of improvement as the environment performance and the social performance to the community.
