After a short preamble established from three concrete references of the present reality, the lecture shows, at first, a question about the wide gap existing between the Academy and society. Secondly, it establishes some points of reflection on the importance and relevance of transdisciplinary to overcome this discrepancy, within the proposed discussion, highlighting the importance of the role of University extension. In a third moment, it shows some challenges, opportunities and prospects concerning the theme of the institutionalizing of transdisciplinarity in the Academy, with the presentation of some concrete examples. |
