Popis:	The results of hydrochemical analyses and biotesting of surface water and sediments of Nivka river near the airport «Kiev» are presented. Exceeding of maximum permissible values for a number of indexes (COD, BOD5, ammonia and nitrates) and considerable contamination of surface water and sediments by oil products and some of heavy metals is demonstrated.
