Popis: | Previously, it was shown that Kerr-Sen black holes can be overcharged or overspun into naked singularities neglecting backreaction effects. Here, we re-evaluate the overspinning and overcharging problems incorporating the self energy of the perturbations due to the induced increase in the angular velocity and the electrostatic potential of the event horizon described in a seminal work by Will. We show that Kerr-Sen black holes cannot be overspun or overcharged by perturbations satisfying the null energy condition in a complete second order analysis which comprises the self-energy of the perturbations. |
