| Popis: | Surface layers of water miscible volatile organic solvents (N,N-dimethylacetamide, acetone, ethanol, and tetrahydrofuran) have been formed on water and their properties have been studied. The layers are stable on the water surface and can be transferred to a solid substrate to form a multilayer film. Despite the volatility of the source material, some films can even withstand heating.
