District Health Information System Version 2 to integrate the data from health facilities to the national level for essential health programs. Indonesia adopted DHIS2 since 2016 till now in the needs of the collection and dashboard tool that can process, report, and use of data to improve healthcare quality, effectiveness, and efficiency through better data management at all levels of implementation. This approach is based on a case study in Indonesia’s regional level for implementation of DHIS2 by using in-depth interviews to the key informants. DHIS2 platform in Indonesia has been successfully implemented at national, provincial and district levels. At national level, DHIS2 has been using as a platform on handling the Covid-19 pandemic by developing a tracing tool to collect the individual data. In Jakarta Province, DHIS2 is being implemented as a single-entry health data application to collect and manage aggregate data. The Makassar’s implementation of DHIS2 is oriented towards the development of a healthy city by integrating multi sectoral data [aggregate and individual] from Regional Work Units (RWU) namely the Sehattami, Makassar. DHIS2 as a multi-sectoral data management platform at the national and regional levels that is developed from the urge of advanced HIS that is enhancing the data quality and improving the data use by visualizing the indicators and/or data needed in a form of an interactive dashboard. |
