This study aims to see how forms of domestic violence against wives in Tobuuha Village, Puuwatu District, Kendari City and the impact of domestic violence (KDRT) on the social welfare of wives, the research method used is qualitative with descriptive research type, research informants are 8 people. determined by purposive sampling technique, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation then data were analyzed using interactive model analysis techniques consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing/verificationThe results showed that Domestic Violence (KDRT) is any act against a person, especially a woman that results in physical, sexual, psychological misery or suffering and neglect of the household, including threats to commit acts, coercion or deprivation that is against the law in household scope. Domestic violence can be in the form of physical violence, psychological violence, sexual violence or neglect of the household, but generally people still think that domestic violence is only physical violence. Domestic violence that occurred in Tobuuha Village, Puuwatu District. As a result of domestic violence, the welfare of the wife in Tobuuha Village has not been achieved, this can be seen from the quality of life in terms of material, such as the quality of housing, food and so on, the quality of life from a physical point of view, such as physical health, the natural environment, and so on, quality of life. from a mental point of view, such as educational facilities, cultural environment, and so on, quality of life from a spiritual perspective, such as morals, ethics, compatibility of adjustments, and so on |
