Popis: Environmental sanitation is an effort to achieve a healthy environment through controlling physical environmental factors, especially those that have an impact on the physical development of health and human survival. One of the main problems that occur in coastal areas is the level of poverty which makes many people have low education due to a limited economy. Wawatu Village is a coastal village where part of the area is in direct contact with the sea. This study aimed to determine the description of environmental sanitation facilities for coastal communities in Wawatu Village, North Moramo District, South Konawe Regency in 2022. The research method used was descriptive quantitative with an observational survey approach. The sample used was 92 samples. The sampling technique in this study was carried out using simple random sampling. The results showed that the condition of drinking water facilities met the health requirements as many as 68 people (73.9%) and did not meet the requirements as many as 24 people (26.1%), family latrines that met the requirements as many as 11 people (12.0%) and did not meet the requirements as many as 81 people (88.0 %), and waste water disposal facilities that met the requirements as many as 19 people (20.7%) and did not meet the requirements as many as 73 (79.3%) as for the waste disposal facilities that met the requirements. requirements as many as 11 people (12.0%) and did not meet the requirements 81 people (88%)
