Popis: | Consistent determinationof unknown values based on statistical data at the concept design stage is awidely used approach. It is clear that the determination of the main dimensionsand capacities of the ships in the conceptual design phase at an acceptableaccuracy is decisive for the success of the next stages of the design as wellas the bid preparation. For yachts, the main dimensions, areas and volumes ofthe decks forming the top building besides the main values such as ship size, width and depth directly affect the external design features and cost levels ofsuch special boats. In the concept designphase, for example in the modeling of a characteristic such as stability, theminimization of the design variables to be used as much as possible gives thenaval architect the ease of operation and the ability to control these variablesmore freely. In summary, it is aimedto present a simple and useful approach to the naval architect, which can beused during the conceptual design stage of mega yachts and yield an error levelas low as possible. The resulting formula obtained from the method developed inthis paper is given as follows:For Φ ≤ 30o: CRS. 103= For Φ > 30o:CRS . 103=  |
