Popis: | This study explored the attitudes of teacherstowards the use of interactive whiteboards (IWBs) in English Language teachingand learning contexts, and also sought insights into teachers' actual use ofIWBs in English language classes. The study also investigated possible factorsaffecting teachers' positive and negative attitudes towards IWBtechnology. Data were collected throughquestionnaires distributed to 82 teachers in different institutions acrossAndimeshk, Iran, from Secondary schools. Questionnaire results revealed thatteachers have positive attitudes towards the use of IWBs in Math instructionand are aware of the potential of this technology. Responses given ininterviews indicated that all Math teachers are supportive of IWB technology intheir classes, and observations revealed that IWBs are used with their basicfunctions in Math classes. The statistical analysis revealed that the moreteachers use IWBs, the more they like this technology |
