TECHNO-CONFORMISM IN RELATION TO MOTIVATIONS FOR TECHNOLOGICAL DEPENDENCE OF HEGEMONIC CONSTITUENTS

Teknoloji, geçmişten günümüze“gelişiminin tetikleyiciliğinden” “dönüşümün belirleyiciliğine” doğru bir grafik sergilemektedir.Bu çalışmada, teknolojiyi üretip kullanım stratejisi olan ve zihniyet tasarlayan güçodakları ile zihniyet tasarımları neticesinde zihinsel yetilerini kullanma işlerliğinikaybeden tüketicilerin (içgüdüsel hareket edenlerin) uyum sağlama çabası arasındakiilişki belirgin örneklerle vurgulanacaktır. Nitel araştırma yönteminin kullanıldığıçalışmada, dijital kuşağın tekno-konformist davranışlarının nedenleri sorgulanacak,güç odaklarının çevrelerinde olup bitenleri nasıl yönlendirdiği, dijital kültürün nasılgeliştiği soruları, teknoloji bağımlılığının gözlemlendiği örnek olaylar yorumlanarakcevaplandırılacaktır. Çalışmanın eksenini yeni medya teknolojileri ve bu teknolojilereuyum süreci ile teşekkül eden dijital kültür oluşturmaktadır.Yeni kültürel oluşumlarda baş aktör olan güçler, teknolojiyi araç olarak kullanmakta vekendini gizleyerek onu dönüşümün belirleyicisi konumuna getirmektedir. Teknolojinin,insanın uyum sağlamasını gerekli kılan işlevi tekno-konformizm kavramıyla açıklanıpyeni oluşum dijital kültür çerçevesinde ele alınacaktır. Man has entered the race to dominate nature and people, moving away from thestruggle of producing in harmony with nature, which is based on remedying hiscongenital deficiencies and exceeding his performance limits thanks to reason. In thismoney-focused race, where interests are masked, decisiveness of technology is veryclear in the balance parameters between hegemonic forces and masses. From past topresent, technology underwent a change from being the “trigger of development” into“determinism of transformation”.In this study, the relationship between the power foci that produce technology anddesign the mindset, and adaptation efforts of consumers (who go with their instincts)who have lost their ability to use mental skills because of their designed mentalitywill be emphasized with clear examples. Employing qualitative research methods, thisstudy examines techno-conformist behaviours of digital generation and tries to provideanswers to questions how power foci direct what is going around, how digital cultureis developed by commenting on case studies in which technological dependence isobserved. The axis of the study follows new media technologies and digital culturewhich is consisted of the process of adaptation to these technologies.Powers, which are the chief actors in the new cultural formation, use technology asan instrument and place it to the major determinant of transformation by concealingthemselves. The decisive function of technology which necessitate human adaptationwill be explained around the concept of techno-conformism and the new formationwill be dealt within the context of digital culture. |
