Popis: | The aim of thisstudy is investigation of secondary school students’ attitudes toward violencewith physical education lessons’ sportspersonship behaviours according tocertain independent variables. A total of 209 (age= 12.18 ± 1.06) students, 108females and 101 males, participated in the research. The data analysis includeddescriptive statistics, T-test, Pearson moments multiplication correlationanalysis, and one-factor variance analysis (ANOVA). In the study analyses showthat secondary school sportspersonship levels are high and they are notparticipate to attitudes toward violence. There is avoidant, low level, meaningful relation between avoiding negative behaviours and attitudes towardviolence. In addition, students exhibiting Sportspersonship behaviours werefound to be higher than students who played in the school team, and studentswho did not participate in the sport were more likely to avoid Sportspersonshipthan students who were not active in the competition. As a result, it isthought that educational institutions can help to reduce violence whileincreasing the Sportspersonship behaviours by encouraging the orientation ofthe students to the school teams in order to improve the Sportspersonship andmoral values of the students. |
