Popis: Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a clinico-radiological syndrome, characterized by headache, altered mental status, visual disturbances, seizures and radiological features of edema of the posterior cerebral hemisphere, especially of the parieto-occipital region. It is quite rare in children. Here we report a case of post-streptococcal glomerulonephritis in a 9 years old child, who presented with convulsion & visual disturbance and ultimately diagnosed to have PRES on neuro-imaging.
