Popis: | Disease control in organic agriculture is based on preferential treatment of advanced cultivation techniquesrather than to be involved directly applications to pathogens. Powdery mildew (Erysiphe necator Schwein synUncinula necator (Schwein.) Burrill) is a destructive disease with its variable disease incidence and severitydepending upon years. With this study; we aimed to determine the effect of cultural practice and alternativechemicals on E. necator and yield/quality; intended for control of powdery mildew which is an important problemof vine cultivation in the organic agriculture conditions. The research was carried out for 3 years in “SultanaSeedless Grape” fields in Alaşehir-Yeşilyurt foundation which is belong to Manisa Viticulture Research Station. It was determined that there is an disease control in fields in which leaf removal are conducted whencompared with organic fields and conventional control in which leaf removal are not conducted. The repeated strongnegative relationship (r = -0.85) has been determined between leaf removal and disease severity during research.Powdery mildew disease severity show statistically significant reduction in fields which is treated with sulfur andsodium bicarbonate dependent on years when compared with conventional controls. Strongly negative relationship(r=-0,82/-0,87) was determined between powdery mildew disease severity and yield values. There were nosignificant adverse effects on criteria of yield quality as a consequence of leaf removal process. Strong positiveinteraction (r = + 79 / + 93) was determined between leaf removal process and yield quality.  |
