| Popis: | Turks conquest of Cyprus disappointed Spain. This is reflected in Cervantes’ El Amante Liberal. It contains one of the stories found in Novelas Exemplares published in 1613. The same story was published in 1822, as The Liberal Lover. Turkish articles about Cervantes, evaluated his views on Turkish Image. The historical framework of the conquest of Cyprus, as reflected in Cervantes’s El Amante Liberal, has not been evaluated until today, in the context of rumour literature. The reflections of historical events during the Turkish conquest of Cyprus, will be established in this study, within the context of the rumour literature. |
