| Popis: | Türkiye’de Çocuk Hakları Sözleşmesi 1995 yılında yürürlüğe girmiştir. Ancak, ülkemizde bu sözleşmenin öngördüğü iyileştirmeler konusunda yapılanlar tatmin edici değildir ve ciddi bir başarı düzeyi yakalanamamıştır. Dolayısıyla, çocuk hakları konusu yeterince bilinmemekte ve günümüzde çocuk işçiliği,sokak çocukları ve sokakta çalışan çocuklar gibi sorunlar büyüyerek devam etmektedir. Çalışma bu sorunun boyutlarını ortaya koyarak, çocuk hakları konusundaki ve sokak çocukları sorununa yönelik bilinçliliği artırmayı hedeflemektedir. U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child was putinto effect in 1995 in Turkey. Yet, the progress in this area is not satisfactory because the improvement required by the Convention has not been achieved toa great extent. Thus, the issue of the rights of children is not widely known, and theproblems of child labor, street children and under-aged street vendors continue to worsen. This study aims to discuss and present the size of the problem, and to increase awareness towards the rights of the child and the children of the street. |
