| Popis: | Palyatif bakım kanser ile mücadelenin en önemli yapıtaşlarından biridir. Bir bakım felsefesi olan palyatif bakım organize ve üst düzeyde yapılandırılmış bir bakım verme sistemidir. Bu sistemin gelişimi ülkeden ülkeye farklılık göstermekle birlikte, gelişmekte olan ülkelerde gelişmiş ülkelere göre daha çok yapılanma aşamasındadır. Türkiye’de ise palyatif bakım aktiviteleri desteklenmekte ve sağlık sistemimiz içerisine entegre edilemeye çalışılmaktadır. Sağlık Bakanlığı Kanserle Savaş Dairesi’nce palyatif bakım konusunda yaşanan sıkıntıları gidermek amacıyla hemşire temelli, toplum tabanlı bir proje gerçekleştirilmesini amaçlanarak “PALLİA-TURK” adında bir proje hazırlanmıştır. Bu proje kapsamında palyatif bakım eğitim ve örgütlenmesinde önemli gelişmeler yaşanmış ve bu gelişmelerde artışın hızlı bir şekilde devam edeceği öngörülmektedir. Bu derlemede dünyada ve Türkiye’de palyatif bakım eğitimi ve örgütlenmesinde mevcut durum özetlenmeye çalışılmıştır. The palliative care is one of the most important milestones in the process of cancer struggle. Being a care philosophy, the palliative care is a top level organized care delivery system. While the development of this system varies from one country to another, it is rather at the evolution stage in the developing countries, compared to the developed countries. In Turkey, the palliative care activities are supported with a number of efforts for its integration with the national health system. To overcome the troubles experienced in the palliative care services, the Cancer Struggle Department under the Ministry of Health has designed a nurse based and community focused project called “PALLIA-TURK”. A considerable improvement has been scored in the palliative care training and organization within the framework of this project, and such improvements are expected to increase rapidly and steadily. In this review, the current status palliative care education and organization in the world and Turkey are summarized. |
