Popis: Objective: One of the analysis techniques used in the quality control of feeds is the microscopic analysis technique. The microscopic analysis technique is used to describe the characteristic features of feedstuffs, to detect the existence of weed seeds that are harmful or toxic for animals, to verify the conformity of the label declaration in compound feeds and to determine animal proteins. In this article, the usage areas of the microscopic analysis techniques in the quality control of feeds were discussed. Conclusion: The procedures of the analyses of the ‘animal proteins’ and the ‘percentage ingredients of the components’ in the compound feed analyzed via this technique were explained in detail. Within the analysis procedures were given visuals which might help describe the characteristic features of feed materials.
ÖzetAmaç: Yemlerin kalite kontrolünde kullanılan analiz tekniklerinden birisi mikroskopik analiz tekniğidir. Mikroskopik analiz tekniği, yem hammaddelerinin karakteristik özelliklerinin tanımlanmasında, hayvanlara zararlı veya toksik olan yabancı ot tohumlarının varlığının tespitinde, karma yemlerde etiket beyanının uygunluğunun doğrulanmasında ve hayvansal proteinlerin belirlenmesinde kullanılmaktadır. Bu makalede, mikroskopik analiz tekniğinin yemlerin kalite kontrolünde kullanım alanları tartışılmıştır.Sonuç: Bu teknikle yapılan 'hayvansal proteinler' ve karma yem içerisinde % bileşeni analizlerinin prosedürleri detaylı olarak anlatılmıştır. Analiz prosedürleri içerisinde, yem materyallerinin karakteristik özelliklerini tanımlamaya yardımcı olabilecek görsellere yer verilmiştir.
