The paper analyzes the basic parameters of SSB forming sieves (Sheet Support Binder) and their impact on the breaking strength and breaking elongation. The research was carried out on three types of multi-layer sieves, 1V1P41, 1V1P51 and 1V2P51. These forming sieves have the same composition (warp PES, weft PES and PA, binding weft PA), but they have a different densities of warp and weft and different interlacement. The measurements were taken after thermo stabilization and after binding in order to get the results on the sieves strength changing. The test was performed on a Zwick dynamometer with TextXpert V.11.0 supportive software. The following results were obtained: the breaking strength and breaking elongation of the sieve 1V1P41 after stabilization were totaled 3916,91 N and 18,22 % and after binding 1839,10 N and 9,44 %; for forming sieve 1V1P51 the results after stabilization were 3680,05 N and 18,35 % and after binding 1356,61 N and 9,12 %; for the sieve 1V2P51 the breaking strength after stabilization was 3834,78 N and breaking elongation was 19,71 % while the values after binding were 1783,51 N and 10,66 %. From the results it can be concluded that after the binding of thermo-stabilized sieves their strength is changing. |
