Popis: Introduction. The relevance of the study is determined by a gradual decrease in the level of public confidence in the police. The main reasons are the lack of effective personnel, the lack of real changes on the ground, ineffective activities and conflicts of law enforcement agencies. It is shown that the population considers the main problems of the National Police are: unprofessionalism; corruption (extortion, bribery); inaction; reluctance to protect the "common" person; rudeness, blackness; low level of personnel culture. Together, this leads to the problem of the development of the professional and rules-based behavior of future officers of the National Police of Ukraine from the very beginning of their professional formation – training in higher education institutions with specific training conditions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to present the results of the original empirical study, in the course of which a typology of the professional and rules-based behavior of future officers of the National Police of Ukraine was revealed and comprehensively described. Methods. An empirical study of the features of the professional and rules-based behavior of future officers of the National Police of Ukraine was carried out during 2016-2020. The empirical base of the study was Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. For meaningful filling of types of the professional and rules-based behavior, a set of psychodiagnostic methods was used: "Personal questionnaire of moral and legal reliability of the person" (E. Yu. Strizhov); questionnaire "Moral personality profile" (A. A. Tokman); diagnostic questionnaire for the level of moral and ethical responsibility of the individual – DUMEOLP (I. G. Tymoshchuk); questionnaire "Scales" (T. M. Malkova). Originality. The article presents the results of an empirical study of the features of the professional and rules-based behavior of future officers of the National Police of Ukraine. In the course of an empirical study, a checklist has been developed, which includes 27 requirements for the professional and rules-based behavior of cadets of a higher education institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, determined by departmental regulatory documents and internal regulations of a higher education institution. The checklist was evaluated by the researchers according to the criteria of rules-based behavior: cognitive (degree of understanding of the requirement), emotional-value (consent to the requirement, its acceptance), behavioral (fulfillment of the requirement). As a result, data matrices were obtained that made it possible to determine the level of formation of the professional and rules-based behavior of the researchers (high, medium, low). In the future, hierarchical cluster analysis of data was carried out, which made it possible to identify the groups (types) of the studied. The article presents a typology of the professional and rules-based behavior of future officers of the National Police of Ukraine. Psychological characteristics of cadets with different types of the professional and rules-based behavior are provided. The results given may be the basis for improving the vocational and psychological selection of future police officers, psychological support of the educational process in higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Conclusion. According to the results of the study, five types of the professional and rules-based behavior of cadets of the higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine were identified: optimal, optimal and high-level accounting of moral standards in their behavior, satisfactory, neutral, unsatisfactory. The provided characteristics of the types include: a description of the criteria for the professional and rules-based behavior; indicators of moral and legal reliability; moral and ethical responsibility; indicators of moral qualities of the individual; peculiarities of ideas about future professional activity.
В статье обоснована актуальность темы исследования, представлены результаты эмпирического исследования особенностей профессионально-нормативного поведения будущих офицеров Национальной полиции Украины, проведенного в Харьковском национальном университете внутренних дел. Представлена и содержательно описана типология профессионально-нормативного поведения будущих офицеров Национальной полиции Украины. Предоставлена психологическая характеристика курсантов с различными типами профессионально-нормативного поведения.
У статті обґрунтовано актуальність теми дослідження, представлено результати емпіричного дослідження особливостей професійно-нормативної поведінки майбутніх офіцерів Національної поліції України, проведеного в Харківському національному університеті внутрішніх справ. Представлено і змістовно описано типологію професійно-нормативної поведінки майбутніх офіцерів Національної поліції України. Надано психологічну характеристику курсантів з різними типами професійно-нормативної поведінки.
