Видатний дослідник польської й української історії Й. Роллє та його книги у фондах НБУВ*

| Popis: | The article deals with the scientific achievements and the biographical dates of the prominent Polish writer, historian and physician Joseph Rolle, whose activities are associated with Kyiv, Yaryshiv and most closely with Kamyanets-Podilskyi, where the scientist worked as a doctor, interested in folk medicine, local history and ethnography of Podillya, wrote his important historical and literary works, worked in the history of the Right-bank' Ukraine. Some results of researches of the modern historians on his biography and creativity are presented, as well as their evaluation of the significance of his works, especially for modern Cossack studies and history of medicine in Podillya. A bibliological review of the works of J. Rolle is made and the source material of the provenances is analyzed on the books published by him, which are stored in the funds of the department of library collections and historical collections of the Institute of Bibliology of the National Library of Ukraine V. I. Vernadsky. The names of the book owners have been identified. The historical and bibliological characteristics of some Rolle's works are given and the historical themes in them connected with Ukraine are emphasized. У статті розглянуто життєвий шлях і науковий доробок видатного польського письменника, історика та лікаря Йосипа Роллє, діяльність якого пов'язана з Києвом, Яришевим і найтісніше — з Кам'янцем-Подільським, де вчений працював медиком, цікавився народною медициною, краєзнавством та етнографією Поділля, написав важливі літературні твори й праці з історії Правобережної України. Наведено окремі результати досліджень біографії й творчості Й. Роллє, подано їхню оцінку, а також наголошено на значущості праць науковця, зосібна для сучасних козакознавчих студій та історії медицини Поділля. Здійснено книгознавчий огляд праць Й. Роллє й проаналізовано джерелознавчий матеріал провенієнцій на опублікованих ним книгах, що зберігаються у фондах відділу бібліотечних зібрань та історичних колекцій (далі1 — ВБЗІК) Інституту книгознавства Національної бібліотеки України імені В. І. Вернадського (далі — ІКНБУВ). Виявлено імена власників книг. Надано історико-книгознавчу характеристику окремих праць Й.Роллє та виокремлено в них історичну тематику, пов'язану з Україною. |
