Popis: Today, the process of improving the educational environment continues, which is a condition for ensuring the successful training of those seeking education. The new Ukrainian school singles out this task as one of the priorities, since the acquisition of competencies by primary school students must take place in an appropriate educational environment. Most researchers understand the educational space as a certain territory associated with large-scale phenomena in the field of education, namely: as a certain share of the social space (social organization), within which standardized educational activities are carried out; as a result of integration processes into the educational system; as a unity, a coherent entity in the field of education, which has its own boundaries (world/global educational space, educational space of the state, educational space of a certain region, local community, school, school class), etc. It is emphasized that the purposeful creation of educational space as a complex and multidimensional object, as a pedagogical phenomenon, requires clarification of its structure, effective mechanisms, etc. Ergonomic design, construction, deployment, self-organization, design and other components make up the structure of the educational space of the primary school. Valuable are the work of teachers and scientists who belonged to the Ukrainian Pedagogical Society “Native School”, which was active in Western Ukraine at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 40s of the 20th century, which was in the fairway of the development of Ukrainian private schooling, which, with its in turn, led to the need for designing and building school premises, transforming primary schools into centers of education, national education of children and adult education. The model of learning outside the walls of the classroom is characterized. It was concluded that the analyzed productive experience, as well as the practice of designing and organizing schools, arranging the educational space of classrooms, architectural projects of Ukrainian and European architects, pedagogical and ergonomic requirements for the educational space of the studied period, deserve thorough study and creative use under the conditions of the implementation of the reform primary education.
Проаналізовано освітній простір як складну багатомірну педагогічну реальність. Виокремлено продуктивний освітній досвід, напрацювання педагогів, науковців, які належали до УПТ “Рідна школа”, що діяло в Західній Україні наприкінці ХІХ – на початку 40-хрр. ХХст., проаналізовано практику проєктування й організації шкіл, облаштування освітнього простору класних кімнат, архітектурних проєктів українських та європейських архітекторів, педагогічно-ергономічні вимоги до освітнього простору. Схарактеризовано модель навчання поза стінами класної кімнати.
