| Popis: | Introduction. The performance by security institutions specialists of their professional duties in the conditions of permanent information dissemination demands a thorough analysis of significant arrays of diverse information. Therefore, ensuring the successful functioning of an efficient and effective system of information analysis in the professional activity of the specified category of specialists, taking into account the specifics of such activity and the course of the security situation, actualizes a number of methodological, methodical and practical problems. One of them is the identification of the psychological mechanism and basic principles of information analysis as the key basis of qualitative implementation of the specified process. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to substantiate and characterize the psychological mechanism which is important for the objective characterization of information blocks, as well as to highlight the main principles of information analysis carried out by security institutions specialists during their professional activities. The main tasks within the specified goal are: determination of the stages of such psychological mechanism and description of the psychological prerequisites for its successful implementation, detailing the defining principles that determine the basic guidelines for the qualitative processing of information arrays. Methods. The authors used a complex of theoretical and special methods, in particular: systematization and generalization, comparison and abstraction, structuring and objectification, psychological analysis of personality, interpretation of behavioral signs and prediction of possible actions. Originality. For high-quality and comprehensive research of large volumes of information arrays, security sector specialists should focus on achieving the following goals: establish the level of reliability of information; understand the significance of certain information and actualize thinking activity and attention, distancing yourself from other problems and thoughts; constantly update your knowledge in accordance with dynamic innovative changes in the information and scientific sphere; working with information, take into account one's own individual psychological characteristics and style of activity; develop intellectual-prognostic and communicative-creative qualities; form and apply constructive and effective strategies of information analysis, on the basis of which to develop appropriate prognostic models of the further course of events. The success of the implementation of the specified goals is determined, first of all, by the awareness of the psychological mechanism of information analysis. In general, the psychological mechanism of information analysis should contain a number of the following stages: awareness of its significance, purpose and need for analysis; perception of information and selection of priority aspects; selection and structuring of supporting/key aspects and emphasis on them; comprehension of information and emergence of relevant emotions, motives for qualitative analysis of information; comparison of information with relevant available knowledge; own primary interpretation of the received information; taking into account one's individual characteristics, which may facilitate/hinder the objective analysis of this information (also the individual characteristics of the person who reported or transmitted this information); determination of the method of action (algorithm, methods, strategies); making a decision to act. The successful implementation of the presented mechanism is, first of all, ensured by the constant improvement of the intellectual sphere of the specialist's personality and the development of proactive thinking. At the same time, the process of information analysis requires a specialist to have a developed set of psychological characteristics that determine the success and quality of such analysis. One of the prominent places among them take creative abilities, since analytical work is based precisely on the creative component of the personality, which contributes to the originality of information analysis, presentation of obtained results, development of predictive models, etc. Since the information can have a fairly high level of complexity, for its objective analysis it is important to understand not only the psychological mechanism, but also the determining vectors of its implementation. Therefore, the principles of information analysis are the defining fundamentals that determine the basic guidelines for its successful processing. Conclusions. One of the important prerequisites for qualitative thorough analysis of information is the corresponding psychological mechanism, which reveals the psychophysiological foundations of the specified process and the sequence of relevant cognitive actions of the specialist. The psychological mechanism of information analysis actualizes the necessary mental state and the corresponding functionality during the processing of information arrays. Core basics of information analysis are the defining principles that determine the key orientations for successful information processing, in particular the following: purposefulness, objectivity, consistency, congruence, systematicity, dynamism, correctness, logic, accessibility. The materials presented in the article do not pretend to be exhaustive, therefore, further scientific research on the announced issues should be focused on the development of a complex psychological model of processing significant information arrays in the conditions of the influence of psycho-traumatic factors on the personality of the specialist. У статті із застосуванням комплексу методів теоретичного рівня дослідження обґрунтовано й охарактеризовано психологічний механізм та психологічні передумови його успішної реалізації, які є важливими аспектами для об’єктивної характеристики інформаційних блоків. Виокремлено основні принципи аналізу інформації, що здійснюють фахівці безпекових інституцій у процесі професійної діяльності. |
