Popis: The article considers the fundamental concepts, theories, models of domestic and foreign scientists in the study of the evolution of theoretical ideas about the category of «resources» from understanding the essence of the resource as a factor of social production in classical economic thought to the emergence of resource theory. The terminological apparatus of resource management of the sanatorium-resort industry has been specified. The author's definition of resource provision of the sanatorium-resort industry is given. A model of resource provision of business entities of the sanatorium-resort industry from the standpoint of process-functional approach is proposed. The basis for the development of the sanatorium and resort industry of Ukraine is the availability and integrated use of resources which, taking into account the introduction of new technologies, are a factor of innovative development and the basis for creating competitive advantages of organizations and institutions. Modern understanding of the essence of resources is the result of long-term development of scientific thought. The basis of modern scientific theories that study the formation, distribution and use of limited resources for the production of useful goods is the resource theory of the firm. The essence of the resource theory of the firm is the need to constantly and timely identify, develop, protect the resource base of the organization, using new combinations of resources, which should ensure the effective transformation of resources in the organization into values for consumers. Currently, resource theory in management has several different schools that demonstrate the unity of understanding of the essence of competitive advantage, which is achieved by the presence of a unique combination of resources and competencies of the firm. The article establishes that the resource theory in the management of the sanatorium-resort industry should be based on the study of resources using systemic, functional, process and balance approaches, which will identify the main characteristics of different types of resources, types of relationships between them, factors of influence, possible transformational changes, to create an information-analytical base of their analysis for development and decision-making on resource management. Despite the importance, functionality and comprehensiveness of the study of resources by representatives of various scientific fields, there is still no theoretical integrity in the representation of the process of resource provision of economic entities. Under the resource provision of business entities of the sanatorium-resort industry, we propose to understand a comprehensive, continuous, balanced process of state creation of conditions for the formation, distribution, reproduction of various resources for the implementation of strategic goals of the industry and development. The process of resource provision of the sanatorium-resort industry covers the stages of formation, distribution and reproduction of resources. The article presents a model of resource provision of the sanatorium-resort industry from the standpoint of process-functional approach. The application of the model of resource provision in the practical activities of economic entities of the sanatorium-resort industry will improve the quality of medical services by improving the effectiveness of the resource provision process.
У статті розглянуті фундаментальні концепції, теорії, моделі вітчизняних та зарубіжних вчених в сфері дослідження еволюції теоретичних уявлень про категорію «ресурси» від розуміння сутності ресурсу як фактора суспільного виробництва в класичній економічній думці до появи ресурсної теорії фірми. Уточнено термінологічний апарат управління ресурсним забезпеченням санаторно-курортної галузі. Надано авторське визначення ресурсного забезпечення санаторно-курортної галузі. Запропоновано модель ресурсного забезпечення суб’єктів господарювання санаторно-курортної галузі з позиції процесно-функціонального підходу.
