DEVELOPMENT OF THE ESPERANTO MOVEMENT IN UKRAINE AS A SOCIO-CULTURAL PHENOMENON: HISTORIOGRAPHY OF THE PROBLEM

Popis: The article analyzes historiographic works on the development of the Esperanto movement – a socio-pedagogical system, the main elements of which are people – native speakers and supporters who are voluntarily incorporated into organizations, associations, unions, clubs or other types of formations, communities to achieve a certain purpose, creation and popularization of spiritual and material cultural unity, norms, values, criteria.The author finds that the diversity of historiographical material allows us to fully consider the problem of socio-pedagogical foundations of the development of the Esperanto movement in Ukraine in the late nineteenth and mid-30th years of the twentieth century. It is determined what the Esperanto language is. The works on the general guidelines for the development of the Esperanto movement have been analyzed and the works of purely historiographic character are considered. The works of the second historiographical stage devoted to the development of the Esperanto movement and Esperanto as a sociocultural phenomenon were grouped. Different approaches to the historiographical review of the scientific problem are analyzed and the basic principles are chosen. The historiographical stages of a scientific problem research are singled out. The scientific sources on the development of the Esperanto movement in Ukraine were analyzed. The content of selected and systematized works is analyzed for revealing changes in the coverage of the studied problem by the worked out sources in different periods of the historical and pedagogical process, it was determined how the historiographic source base and methods of research were developed in certain times. We dwell in greater detail on the analysis of each of our historiographical stage of a scientific problem research. The conclusions about the trends of illumination of the investigated process and the consequences that influenced the further development of pedagogical theory and practice were made.
У статті здійснено аналіз історіографічних праць з проблеми розвитку есперанто-руху – соціально-педагогічної системи, основними елементами якої є люди – носії мови та її прихильники, добровільно об’єднані в організації, асоціації, союзи, клуби або інші види формувань, співтовариств для досягнення певної мети, створення та популяризації духовної і матеріальної культурної єдності, норм, цінностей, критеріїв. Автором з’ясовано, що різноманіття історіографічного матеріалу дозволяє повною мірою розглянути проблему соціально-педагогічних засад розвитку есперанто-руху в Україні в кінці ХІХ – середині 30-х років ХХ століття.
