GOOGLE СLASSROOM AS A FORM OF SPEECH COMPETENCE FORMATION OF FUTURE JUNIOR SPECIALISTS IN JOURNALISM

Popis: The author focuses attention on addiction of the Z generation students on the digital devices, which necessitates implementation of electronic educational resources for the purpose of formation speech competence among future junior specialists in journalism.The article analyzes the possibilities of using services G Suite for Education (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Forms, Google Documents, Google Spreadsheets, etc.) in learning process and describes the experience of their implementation in study of the discipline “Ukrainian language (for professional purposes)”.The service Google Classroom is the method, which promotes not only formation competitiveness of the personality in electronic informational society, but also diversifies the spectrum of the pedagogical methods.Service Google Classroom has a number of advantages: optimizes the educational process; activates the interest of the students to master the discipline; optimizes the use of learning process for both the student and the teacher; offers methods and forms of teaching, that diversifies the activities of the teacher; promotes attracting visibility and interactivity of information, which is the guaranty of effective assimilation of information; activates the formation of creative abilities of the participants in the educational process.A number of the above benefits of the services Google partially contributes to solving the problem of formation speech competence among future junior specialists in journalism by creating a supportive educational environment, aimed at enhancing motivation of future junior specialists in journalism in the process of professional training.Google Classroom empowers the organization of educational process. Easy access and save tasks greatly simplifies the spending of time on their creation, editing, tracking, promotes creativity to their implementation, and also to the formation of self-study skills during the whole life.It should be noted, that using Google Classroom service at the lessons of “Ukrainian language (for professional purposes)” provides implementation of formation speech competence, formation and development of the creative and critical thinking as the components of speech competence among the students, at the same time happens formation of an information literacy of the students, and educational process of the language acquisition moves to a better quality and more modern level, adapted to the requirements of modern time and psychological specifics of the students.
Автор акцентує увагу на залежність студентів покоління Z від цифрових пристроїв, що зумовлює необхідність у впровадженні електронних освітніх ресурсів з метою формування мовленнєвої компетентності майбутніх молодших спеціалістів з журналістики. У статті проаналізовано можливості використання в навчальному процесі сервісів G Suite for Education (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Forms, Google Documents, Google Spreadsheets тощо) й описано досвід їх упровадження у вивчення дисципліни “Українська мова (за професійним спрямуванням)”. Аргументовано, що використання інформаційних продуктів Google здобувачами освіти сприяє формуванню мовленнєвої компетентності майбутніх молодших спеціалістів з журналістики та є освітнім інструментом, що орієнтований на психологічні особливості студента.
