| Popis: | A standard method of testing E. coli's ability to form biofilm is based on the analysis of morphologyof bacterial colonies grown on yeast extract/casamino acids (YESCA) nutrient agar medium containing congored (CR) as an indicator dye of ECM production. The CR dye adsorbed from the culture medium bybacteria binds to the components of the ECM, including curli and cellulose, giving the bacterial colonies adark red color. |
