Parkinson's disease affects nearly one in 500 people in the UK. Yet many people are misdiagnosed or remain undiagnosed for several years. And patients and carers can often struggle to find relevant information about the condition. While Parkinson's can affect people of all ages, it is primarily a disease of older people.
