Blood rheology (viscosity of the whole blood and plasm, hematocrit and fibrinogen concentration) was studied in 34 anginal inpatients. All the above indices were found elevated. Medication in 16 patients was combined with photopherapy (PT)--extracorporeal autoblood exposure to blue light (BL). 8 patients' blood was exposed to UV-radiation. Only BL PT produced a positive effect on blood viscosity due, primarily, to hematocrit reduction. |
