The possibility of using IRMA in the authors' modification for the determination of rickettsiae and their antigens in different biological substances has been studied. The method has proved to be highly sensitive in the determination of the minimal amounts of antigens in diagnostic reagents and in rickettsial cell and egg cultures. The data obtained in this study indicate that there are good prospects for using this modification of IRMA in different specific investigations involving the detection of microorganisms and their antigens. |
