Popis:	We evaluated allergic reactions in 20,201 patients randomized to the streptokinase arms of The Global Utilization of Streptokinase and t-PA (Tissue Plasminogen Activator) in Occluded Coronary Arteries (GUSTO-I) trial, and tested the hypothesis that patients with streptokinase allergy would exhibit higher mortality. After adjusting for baseline variables and time of death, we found comparable coronary patency, left ventricular function, mortality, and bleeding complications between patients with versus those without streptokinase allergy.
