Popis:	The Microstix-3 test was evaluated for its reliability in screening for asymptomatic bacteriuria. When correlated with quantitative cultures this test was found to have high specificity but low sensitivity. Since several positive cases were missed, we conclude that this test is not reliable for use in screening for asymptomatic bacteriuria in pregnancy.
