Popis:	The concept that perineal urethrotomy is a prodigious time-consuming procedure is no longer tenable. The procedure need not require the use of holding sutures to evert the urethra, a gorget or similar device to aid the manipulation of the instrument into the bladder nor sutures to close the urethra. The procedure can be done smoothly and quickly without any indecision as to its consequences.
