The article describes four design variants of the "auxiliary liver" apparatus which consists of the blood passage fractionators or plasma filters and an original mass transfer device. Indications for using this or that variant of the apparatus have been determined in relationship to the patient's weight and concomitant complications. Clinical examples are given. |
