A total of 839 schoolchildren were investigated in different age groups. In compensated and subcompensated caries forms its intensity varied within the limits of 1.76 +/- 0.07 to 3.13 +/- 0.59 and 5.40 +/- 0.15 to 7.29 +/- 0.17, respectively. In decompensation these values were 10.23 +/- 0.34 to 12.28 +/- 0.42. The highest hygienic index (2.0 +/- 0.25) was found in schoolchildren with decompensated form of caries. Sub- and decompensated forms developed with concomitant gastrointestinal, endocrine disorders and CNS trauma. |
