Popis:	This paper uses leadership theory and personal observations to reflect on leadership behaviours observed during a third year clinical placement on an Oncology Unit. It examines the consequences of the different leadership styles of two registered nurses, firstly a clinical nurse consultant (CNC) and secondly a level one registered nurse, who acted as the author's preceptor. Conclusions are drawn about the value of preceptoring baccalaureate undergraduates.
