[The characteristics of the preclinical and initial stages of organic dementias at an older age]

Popis:	89 aged patients with different clinical forms of dementia (senile, vascular, Pick's disease, Alzheimer's disease) were examined. There appeared 4 variants of preclinical development of dementia: cerebroasthenic, dysmnesic, rigidity of thinking, psychopathy-like condition). On the basis of these symptom complexes early diagnosis of mental disturbances is possible in general geriatric population.
