Collected data of 74 national authors comprising 267 glomus tumors are reported. Based on these data and 49 personal authors' observations the clinic, pathogenesis, pathological anatomy and diagnosis of this rather rare lesion are described. Surgical intervention consisting in total removal of the tumor together with its capsule is the only proper method of treatment for the Barre-Masson disease. |
