On the basis of an analysis of remote results of appendectomy for non-destructive forms of appendicitis in children the authors make a conclusion that appendectomy was not justified in these forms of the disease. To differentiate destructive and non-destructive forms of appendicitis the authors recommend to use electromyography and laparoscopy. |
