Popis: Prostate cancer increases in incidence with age, and is common in older men. If allowed to progress or detected late, prostate cancer readily metastasizes to bone and accounts for about 11 percent of all cancer deaths. Associated conditions with prostate metastatic disease are anemia, pathological bone fractures, and paraplegia. Occasionally, prostate cancer may metastasize to the skull or spinal cord and result in papilledema. Two cases presenting with papilledema secondary to metastatic prostate disease are discussed.
