Popis: To evaluate birth management after in vitro fertilisation (IVF) and the incidence of multi-foetal pregnancies after IVF.We reviewed 178 cases of women who underwent IVF and parturition at the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo (UCCK) in Prishtina, Kosovo. We examined maternal age, gestational age at delivery, mode of birth, indications for Caesarean section, the gender, birth weight, and vitality of the infant, the time spent in our clinic, and the percentage of multi-foetal pregnancies. We found that 97% of births resulting from IVF were performed via Caesarian section, and that 35% of these births were multi-foetal.Based on our research, we concluded that a high percentage of births resulting from IVF require Caesarean section. Multi-foetal pregnancies comprise about 35% of these births.
