We illustrate the results of an historic analysis about the appeals against the judgements expressed by occupational physicians in the territory of ASL3 "Genovese": S.C. PSAL of the ASL3 "Genovese" is the vigilance committee of the local health unit of Genoa. The data have been analyzed for the last six years of activity, from 2005 to 2010 (159 appeals). The analysis of the characteristics of: applicants, duties, occupational risks and results of the appeals contributed for a best knowledge of a procedure for a judgment that involves two important rights of working people: health (safety) and work. This analysis is also most useful for occupational physicians and for the health units interested in surveillance activity. |
