To evaluate the apelin (This case-control study was conducted in department of Biochemistry, Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Karnataka, India. A total of 181 subjects were enrolled in the study from department of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The recruited women were grouped as: Group-I (In the present study, no significant difference was observed for mean gestational age and maternal age.
