[Qualitative analysis of topics related to the quality of life of people with disabilities]

Popis: Quality of life is a concept that reflects the subjective perception of individuals in relation to their degree of satisfaction with their living conditions. It is a concept that involves putting the individual at the forefront, talking about the quality of the professionals involved and influencing the development of programs and the provision of services. The article reflects the opinions that different agents have in relation to disability on given topics related to the model of quality of life such as: the relationship between different agents; the necessary training of professionals in the field of health and/or disability; and the existence of the presence of the participation in society of people with disabilities. Using qualitative methodology, the arguments of the participants in these three issues are discussed. The verbiage, the conceptual map and the analysis of content, performed after the encoding of information, made it possible to detect the perceived needs and satisfaction with the care of the different services. The profile of the qualified professional within the scope of disability is outlined. Proposals for the future are contained in the conclusions, ensuring the improvement of the quality of life of people with disabilities.
