Popis: Despite the increasing use of tube grafts to treat aortic aneurysms, bifurcated prostheses remain the most frequent solution. Advocates of the tube graft emphasize faster positioning and lower operative morbidity and mortality rates. However, the condition of the aortic orifice (where atheromatous lesions are maximal) and the aneurysmal or occlusive iliac disease frequently associated with aortic aneurysms usually require use of a bifurcation prosthesis for complete treatment of aortoiliac lesions.
