Popis:	Cranial cruciate ligament replacement by filamentous carbon fiber was studied in 4 dogs. Incomplete ligament formation occurred. The prosthesis did not cause any adverse gross or histologic reaction in the joints, but failed to induce complete ligament formation because of breakage.
