Popis: Blood pressure measurements made in the physician's office have been the standard for diagnosing hypertension and determining the efficacy of antihypertensive drug therapy. However, these measurements do not necessarily reflect a patient's usual blood pressures in other circumstances, such as at work or in the home. Accurate blood pressure measurements performed by the patient or a family member in an out-of-office setting can be integrated with office readings to assist in the management of hypertension.
