The value of late remanipulation and nonrigid fixation of redislocated Colles' fracture: a retrospective study

Popis:	The value of late remanipulation followed by fixation with a Rush rod was studied in 14 patients with Older type 4 Colles' fractures. At follow-up, the dorsal angulation was improved in 13 of 14 patients, and the radial shortening was unchanged. Subjectively, six patients were fully satisfied, five were partially satisfied, and three were unsatisfied with the final result. It is concluded that operative management is successful and patients have good benefit from this form of treatment.
