Popis: Systemic infusion of ryanodine did not prevent induction of atrial fibrillation (AF) during acetylcholine (Ach) perfusion in frogs. The AF, however, appeared later as of the dogs/Ach perfusion start and lasted for a shorter time as compared with the control. The activation mapping of the right atrium showed no significant difference from the control. The findings suggest that the mechanism of AF induction is hardly related to triggering activity, at least in this particular model.
